Had quite a variation on LPG gas cylinder refills in South Australia. I have two 4kg gas cylinders and wthin a 10km range of Waleroo SA the price varied from $15.00 to $26.00. per refill.
My point on this post being, would it be possible to have a section on 'The Grey Nomads' forum or website for members to compile a list of locations and and prices of LPG refills and other necessities.

Just been to a local servo for a refill.$36.00 change over for a 8.5 kg bottle.The Rock near karuah.No BBQ tonight for me.Lol.
I see that the servo's aren't in any hurry to openly display ALL their fuel prices rather than just their E10 and LPG Not sure how long the govt gave then to get it squared away but it can't be far off

Bunnings charged $22 exchange at Toowoomba yesterday for 9KG Kwik-Gas. I think they price them according to the local competition. Brand spanking new bottle so that's a bonus although it will just get swapped again..
When i was in NZ last year i found that when I wanted to refill/topup my 9'kg Gas bottle at a servo,the servo had a set of scales that measured the content of my bottle.i knew instantly how much gas I was getting and how much to pay.Simple,no rip off ,you paid for what you got.

Bunnings at Morisett NSW 9kg $22 exchange, picked up 2 last week both had a tested recent date stamp, its much harder to get the 4.5kg bottles they don't carry as many in stock and they can differ in physical size and no longer suit the holding bracket so need to check carefully if exchanging.
