As most of you know, we discourage discussions about politics and religion on this forum as they can end negatively. Just read in our local paper that the NSW Gov has donated $45,000 to a local community school to upgrade their classrooms so students using the rooms on a Saturday can learn their parents/grand parents language, and to buy books from overseas.(non english)
Apparently because the kids are born here, they cant intergrate into their own community and many dont know their own language. (Their words)
Gee, I thought our language was English.
The state must have plenty of money to throw around or just vote banking.
