Hi All,

Currently staying at Gunning at the free CP.

What a wonderful little town and a great facility for travellers

The towns people have a petition going to save this facility as some people on the shire council want to close it

If you have ever stayed here please email the Upper Lachlan Shire Council and let them know how much you appreciate it and remind them that you spend money in the town etc

If you are in the area drop into the pub or the service station and sign the petition!

I thought councilors were supposed to represent the people. Maybe they do... just not the majority. It's good to see the towns folk taking action to remind councilors of who's boss.
