My fridge is 11 years old and is not working as good as it use to(like most of us).Do they need re gassing?? Seals seem ok.Cheers
There is no regassing as such, if it has a leak then it wont work at all.If the gases have leaked then its most likely better to replace the fridge rather than repair.
Some times a bit of rust/scale can block the tubes, the old trick is to take the fridge out & roll it around a few times turn it upside down for a while & retry unit.
If its a caravan fridge then you mat wish to have a look at this/ go to the search window & enter( who has put 12volt fans on fridges).posted by Blaze.
Then also enter ( some test results are in on fridge insulation). Posted by myself.
Mine is now working extremly well after to modifaction.
