BATHURST TO CROOKWELL


HI thinking of touring around to coonabarabran then to werris creek

    railway museum then to hillend then to bathurst on to crookwell if

   the road is ok       any body done the bathurst to crookwell road

Not the best road in the world, it has some sections unsealed (about 10 Kim's) and 2 months ago the corugations were very bad, also some very narrow sections with a large drop off

Dont forget to take you rig around Bathhurst track. Im told go left first - I went the wrong way. Good fun though.

If you go left you will be going around backwards. Have a look at the Oberon to Goulburn road. Is all sealed now and good freecamps at Black springs and the Abercrombie river.
