Hi Vis Vest

In case of a brake down or what ever else that may pop it's unexpectted head out at us when we are travelling ..I carry A Hi Vis Vest in the clove box of the car (can get them from any one of those cheap shops ).Also carry a collapsible reflective triangle, both items are light so no hassle re weight. In some parts of Europe these items are required by law to be carried in vehicles.

Lance, truck spares would most likely be the cheapest or Supercheap, Autobarn etc.

They are compulsory for any vehicle over 8??? ton (maybe 12) in all of Australia, so a lot of MH's would need them.

Cheers

Patto

If you get a hi viz vest try to get one with reflective stipes on it. Better for being seen at night.
We can't take too much care when dealing with a break down, day or night. Pull off the road as far as possible, but not on the Bruce Highway. Just outside the fog line is not always enough to keep you safe. Make plenty of room in case you need to be towed or loaded onto a tilt tray.
Keep it safe.

Your so right in saying not to pull off the Bruce highway , I have travelled it over four times in the past week and in some places where the worst of the flooding took place it is so wet if you went down you would be down for weeks i recon. And a lot of the drop offs are like dropping off a cliff as the road base beside the bitchy has washed away.
