When ours blocks up I use a length of inner speedometer drive cable or flexible drive shaft from a busted whipper snipper. Also handy for threading cables through enclosures. The $2 shops carry a version as well. Re the sullage hose, we ended up buying one with a smooth inner at a Garage sale for $2 (got lucky).....it never blocks like the black ones.
It's not blocked at all, and we do have a smooth inner sullage hose. It was more to clean the pipes and sullage hose from food smells and making sure it doesn't block, more preventative. Thanks for your quick reply.
I vote for the carb soda and vinegar "volcano". Fill the drain at the sink with carb soda using a teaspoon, then pour in straight vinegar (I use Black & Gold white) on the carb soda. I do this twice and then flush with hot, but not boiling water. It could damage the plastic piping. I may also pour a small amount of dish detergent with the hot water. About 2 litres will do it. After you're happy it's clean, run cold water through the drainage system so all remnants of carb soda and other stuff is flushed out of the "plumbing". All good.

G'Day Lorraine, the van bit of ours does block up...often. - it's inner diameter would be no more than 1/2" and it's ribbed and goes round sharp corners. The long sullage hose we find just need a flush with the park taps but then we are usually only in the one spot for a few days so the hose gets flushed often - maybe smells don't have the time to build up. Sheba's suggestion re volcano would be the go.
Wouldn't the Bi-carb and Vinegar option do the trick ?

If you mix bicarb of soda and vinegar the two chemicals react together to form carbonic acid and carbon dioxide gas. Looks interesting. You might as well pour soft drink down your pipe, because that is carbonic acid.
Our grandparents used to pour the remaining boiling water from the kettle down the sink to keep it fresh. Alternatively a little diluted bleach at the end of day.
Any block is best sorted with a plunger or flexible snake from the hardware shop.
