I have vinyl to do mine but like the sound of your PVC Where did you get it and whats the cost if possible. As for the right adhesives I have not idea but the stikaflex range should be a good start point in a search for one as they make a lot of glues for the Auto industry. Dear but good

Clarkes Rubber in Balcatta, W.A. $44 per metre x 2metres wide.
We are using the Gunmetal coloured diamond pattern.
Looked through the Sika products, but not seen anything that actually says use on PVC.
I use Sikaflex 291 a lot both at work and at home on the van and various projects.
The thought is also, is there any glue used at all other than sealing the edges then fitting the clamping strips. In the sun this stuff must expand and contratcs and stiffend in the cold. Some of the contact adhesives I have used go hard and brittle and may create wrikling in the heat.

Like Chris said use contact adhesive in a spray can,you get a better coverage than brushing.
Make sure you cover the both the PVC and the front of the Avan and don't be tempted to put the two together too quickly, wait for the reccomended time.
Sometimes it's of benefit to make up a paper or card template to get your best fit and then cut the PVC.
Cheers
Trevor
Have you used contact adhesive to do this job. What brand was it !
I will be taking the existing stuff off in the next week or two and will be able to see what was used originally. But again many brains make light work especially in being prepared.
Thanks for all the input so far but keep it coming.
