More Greens Lake Visitors

Yes was good to see you all again, Dougwe, Billeee and Jules, Patty and Jimbo.

Dave (Plendo) had seen my posts about the cruiser, and PM me earlier this week offering us the use of a car this week end. We declined as our hosts here had loaned us a car to do our shopping. When Dave Offered us a trip up to Greens we said Yes Please, and Lorraine just had to make a Pav, couldn't disappoint Dougwe could we now. Probably would never of spoken to us again if we hadn't, eh Doug.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Seriously, the hospitality being extended to us has been amazing, and gratefully received, Cindy, you can be proud of the Site you run, and the quality of people taking part, even if some get quite vocal at times and you have to bring them into line.

Expect the Cruisechev to be ready this next week, and then it's off up north again to some warmer weather.

Yep there sure was. Today Easter Saturday saw Plendo, David and his lovely wife Carol vist from Melbourne, now I had a message from David saying he was comeing up and he said he might have some hitch hickers, well, there was, guess who, ok I will tell you, THE KIWIS, yep, Kiwi-as and Kiwi Rainbow hitched a ride.

Now I tell you something for free, I am being a very good boy out here in the playground on my journey to Townsville and beyond. I have decided enough is enough and lose some weight. We had Golly Molley here yesterday and  I was a good boy even though I was tempted with hot cross buns BUT those naughty Kiwis came armed with Brandts great scones and Lorraine wasn't going to be out done so yep, you guessed it, the famous pav made an apperarence. yep, you guessed right again, the good boy was a bad boy, sorry all and sorry waist line. I am back on track again now though.

Thankyou David, Carol, Brandt and Lorraine for another great afternoon here at Greens Lake, it was great to see you all.

I am going to have to call another committee meeting about leaving this great place soon as I have to make a move. As I am the chair at these committee meetings I am going to tell me and myself to get over it as we are leaving Tuesday April 2 it they like it or not.

Good one Doug, sounds like Greens Lake is up holding its tradition of ensuring that if provides the right atmosphere for enjoyment beit be at the expense of one's waist line. please say hi to all there and I must say we are a little jealous that we are not there ourselves but we are spending time with family and preparing for our journey to SA in a couple of weeks.

Take care out there in the playground

B & C

I'm sitting in the New Levin Library as it is pouring rain outside, thinking of you all at Greens Lake. Will see anyone still there next weekend when I pop in for a hello.
