Yesterday i had to go to Brisbane from Gladstone, and noticed the Granite Creek Rest area at Lowermead between Miriam Vale and Gin Gin on Bruce highway is still closed due to the floods.
Granit Creek Rest Area was reopened when i went past it tonight.But as there was no road works going on due to the Easter brake, that may have been the reason why.As when the the road work is going on around that area there is so many trucks and big earth moving equipment they may deam it to dangerous to pull in there.(
