Being new to the Forum and still finding my way around it, while exploring this afternoon, I think I've managed to give myself an Avatar (well, I hope I have). This cheeky pair were sitting outside the window while I was have a cuppa one day a while ago, and they very kindly stayed put while I went to get the camera and posed while I took their photo.  Lots of learning still ahead of me. I like to keep people on their toes and change mine when I get another photo I really like - just have to put the spider on it :)

Well.....apparently, its "An incarnation, embodiment, or manifestation of a person or idea"...

so, nice choice Happy Daze, I am sure it 'suits you' well....and welcome too.

(Although....personally speaking, my wife and I have no interest in such things...shh.gif)

I use a pic of my big rig as my av and always thought it was a he but a member of this forum pointed out to me just the other day that he is a she, even with a blue tongue, not sure how they could tell he was a she though, maybe I should have paid more attention during a certain subject at school.

Why do some people call a car, truck, van, etc either a he or she....

Les calls his Prado a she, I call it a he...RV=Harvie. I have no feelings either way for my Aurion, but I did for my VW Beetle, it was a he.

But it has always got me thinking why they say it...???
