Can a Batwing/Hawkwing Chinese copied rubbish become useful????

G'day        Around 12mths ago I bought what I thought was roof rack awning that was supposed to be in a L shape, to go along the side of the ute and at the back. Well finally finished the roof rack and decided to fit the awning, fitted it up went out into the paddock to set it up.

Long story cut short the heap of rubbish dosnt cover the side and nowhere comes close to offering protection for the back, absolute pain in the A*** to try and set up and it is supposed to be set up by one person................. In their dreams.

Point is can I turn it into something useful.          No hope of getting money back as it is over 12mths, so I am trying to figure how to turn a batwing/hawkwing awning into something like an L shape or do I just buy some more sun screen.

Not much time to do a conversion as I head out next week but I am willing to have ago if someone has any ideas.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cheers

Kev

Maybe put some pics on so people can see your problem. Also perhaps put this post in techies corner.

G'day Pam        Not worth the hastle as I managed to bend the plate and broke plastic  pole holders, so it has gone to the container near all the stuff labelled (I might have a use for this one day) like never.

Cheers

Kev
