(I've put this under a new subject so that it's not lost in the previous thread.)
I had a call today from Rachel at the Casino Big4 - I'd sent them feedback via their web site - offering an apology for the receptionist's attitude to us yesterday. She explained that the dump point had been a public one until sometime last year, before Big4 took over in October, so I guess the local I'd spoken to was not aware of the change.
It was good to have a response - as she said, they need the negative feedback too if they are to improve their service - so full marks to Big4 for that.

Maybe that answers my wonderings about why some of these parks , run around before the people come from these big chains to inspect the park on rating the park. One park we were staying in we had 3ply toilet paper in loos ,hand soap , paper towles, some toiletries and food stuff in reception, it went on and on.I asked the guy next to us what was going on , he laughed and said park owners were wanting to get on board with xx chain. After they had come and gone the people from the big name chain , all the stuff was taken and hide in store room until next visit by the so called big chain inspectors. The cleaner said it happens all the time .Now is that tight or what....and they recon we are all tight a.... So really all this 3/ 4/ 5 /star rating thingo is just a puff of smoke, to chage extra $$$ .

I think it is optional Herbie depending on the owner. Before they couldn't if they belonged to the Big 4 group, but I believe it is now optional at the owners discretion. The Big 4 membership booklet should have it listed as to whether they allow dogs or not.
Bear in mind that Big 4 are only a commercial group that independent owners pay to be part of, but they must meet Big 4 standards.
Like TT and others, they are not owned by Big 4.

When I was in bus and fleet transport management many moons ago I luckily didn't get many negative comments or feedback but when I did I didn't mind it as that meant ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.
