It came through as an email. Not sure. If it had been an attachment I could have downloaded but no. Do I have your email address?

Checked it out again. Doesn't tell me what sort of file it is. Just a straight email. No don't have your email address.

You can try printing it as an XPS. that should be a default windows printer. It doesn't actually print but saves it as a file instead. Then you should be able to save that as a jpg.

Marj, If you need to 'print' a file you can download a free program (very small) called 'cutepdfwriter'.

When you hit print, you select cutepdf as your printer and it saves the file as a pdf which can be opened by any computer.

Thanks everybody. I took my USB stick up to the local Aus Post this morning and they were able to print out the ticket for me, no charge.
They also banked a cheque into my Commbank which I received from the passport office as I had overpaid.
I didn't know they could do that but thought I would ask and yes they were able to do it for me. Saved a 100k round trip to Childers to the bank.
