Fossicking my way to Scone in NSW and maybe beyond

Hi all,
One of my best vet mates is, very unwell and why we are having Anzac Day this year in his town.
I will be leaving early with the intention of fossicking on the way: Adelaide-Scone.
Which way?
Any road that leads to some digging will do.
Anyone interested?
Not to sure at this time whether I tow my van or camp in my 4wd: Swag.

Hi Comebak Wilson. See if you can take your trip through Sofala & Hill End ( Between Bathurst & Mudgee NSW)

I hope your mate is getting better & you enjoy your trip.

Cheers

Ian

Old buildings and the history of gold 'in them thar hills'. And of course a place to stay. Look it up on the net.

Hi Comback,

I will be going to Saphire for a month in August. Then on to Quilpie looking for opals. Its all good fun and theres always the possibility that you may make your fortune.

Best of luck
