Dunno Duh!

Going by the pic there isn't anything on the front. Anyway any TV for $98 isn't going to have any name on it worth it's salt, but I'm giving one a crack!

$10 delivered to Beechworth. biggrin

Oh Bazz, or you could "see these"

http://dicksmith.com.au/product/GE6820/dick-smith-18-5-quot-47cm-hd-led-lcd-tv-w-dvd?utm_source=MCSaatchi&utm_medium=iFrame&utm_content=GE6820&utm_campaign=DickLive_Week3

And that was when they were $168! These couldn't expect to be any better or worse than your typical Hisense, TLC, Sensu, Kogan etc but far cheaper at $98. If there is any problems I'll drop it off at the local Dick Smith.

I bought one last year for $120, free delivery, and it works a treat. I'm watching David Attenborough's Galapagus at the mo. I intend to take it with me (the TV that is) when I hit the road for the big one. It's got all the gizmos including a DVD player/recorder.

Yep, your entitled to your opinon and I usually go by that rule but in this instance for $98 with DVD, PVR I was willing to give it a shot.

I install antennas and Sat dishes for FTA, Pay and the NBN and I have seen plenty of the cheapies with their faults. Mostly the tuners weak and/or failing.

This will be used for Sat so I'm not concerned about the tuner.

Anyway it works a treat and as pointed out elsewhare that the screen on a Dick Smith (or was it Kogan?....Hmmm) only had a 10 deg viewing angle. Not this one, it works well.

We shall see!

Just over 2 years, doesn't get alot of use of course being the van TV but still going well. The DVD player isn't much chop but I wasn't too concerned about the player as we have a good one in van. The audio is crap but we run a Sony 2.1 system for movies. It has been great value for $98.
