Its main problem is it is a ford and does not have a chassis but they may be ok I just don't like fords. owned two ford falcons and they were both rubbish
We tow with a 2011 RWD diesel Territory. Love it !! Pulls the van like its not there- takes big hills like a team of horses wanting to be let go! RWD heaps efficient. Economy is great Comfort is 4 star. We put a cargo barrier in, and the dogs travel in the rear. Seats fold down, and luggage etc is no problem.
What can I say? We'll be getting another (if this one ever wears out)
We are on to our second territory and we love it . We pull 18 ft Jay Co pop top. Travels great but we did have to fit an auxiliary transmission cooler. Today while camping and looking at all the other cars, we both agreed we will buy another territory in a few years.
We have 2005 RWD Territory on petrol and LIG with Aux Trans cooler. We tow a 17'6' Viscount Pop top. Lacks power slightly on gas and petrol but has no problems towing. We have an F100 that we tow with also, but love the comfort of the Territory. Have a cargo barrier and fold down rear seats for extra storage. Happy with our Territory.
Hi, as this is my first post we would like to say hi to all our fellow travellers, my wife Adrienne and I have been on the road for three weeks and we have have a 2012 Territory AWD Diesel, towing a 20'6' Legacy. The Ford handles it no problem at all and before that we had a 19'6' Jayco Sterling again no problems. The vehicle is exceptionally smooth and quiet and a pleasure to ride in and drive. Previously we had a Territory Petrol engine and it was a real gas guzzler. The Diesel is very economical and we could not be happier. We intend to be on the road for at least the next three years minimum. Buy the Ford, but make sure you haggle over the price. Best of Luck from David & Adrienne. (Boots)

Thanks for the welcome, we could at best only get 300K to a 75 litre tank of petrol, and we have more than doubled that with the diesel.

Hi We have just parted with our much loved 2005 RWD petrol Territory with which we tow our 20ft Millard Sunseeka poptop constantly returned 18.6 lts per km at 90 kms per hr. A couple of weeks ago bought an AWD (2700 kg ) V6 turbo diesel. WOW what a nice thing ,pulls like a bull in Springtime love the 6 speed auto which I drive in performance mode or manual when towing. Heaps of torque and the fuel average was 12.5 and 12.7 up hills, windy days and traffic. I sit on 90 kph and out in the country admiring the views if no traffic is around down to 80.We LOVE it at the fuel bowser NOW !!!!! Cheers
