Does anyone have knowledge of a product that will seal/protect the vinyl bit of a pop-top between the bottom of the van and the roof? My wife and I just purchased a Viscount Sea-Breeze (got sick of waiting for an answer about repairs to our Jayco Dove that got scorched so we bought a better van) and the vinyl appears to have tiny pin holes in a couple of spots. The previous owner assures me it doesn't leak but I don't want to take any chances.

Hi Beanbag53
Try Bostik V 60 white silicone ,it works well ,I got mine from a Jayco dealer that's what they use for repairs, I sealed a water fitting box on my van,it sets into a flexible rubber great stuff.
I used Sikaflex, the sealant type that never hardens, and then used a silicone spray wiped over the vinyl to keep it supple.Repco have a decent sized can of silicone spray for around the ten bucks mark and just spray it on a cloth and wipe over the vinyl inside and out.
Worked for me but there will be others that have different answers and other products that they have used that are known to work. Hope you find something to suit.
Something similar happened to the vinyl skirt on a van I had, pin holes had formed where the skirt folded down in the corners.
I ended up buying some special vinyl tape from Camec that is for repairs, including vinyl awnings that may have been pierced by falling twigs etc. Put that on after rounding the corners and all ok after that, you could see the patch but the same colour so not too bad.
Otherwise, just wiped the skirt with clean water and dried with cloth.
