My name is Lance I have just joined the forum,I am grey and do a little travelling, we have a Jayco Westport 2000 21ft model towed with Toyota Prado 2003 diesel,hope to pick up a few tricks on this forum and may be give a few.

As I obviously believe it's a great choice they are a very reliable and comfortable tug but then again so are Toyota's son in law has just purchased new Landcruiser Altitude V8 Diesel which tows his van up hill like its rocket powered.

I too have a 21'6" Westport. It was built in 1999 & has travelled more than 180,000Km with no problems. Still on the original wheel bearings & break shoes. I repack the bearings every 10,000km or so & am very light on the breaks. I pull mine with a 1996 Patrol.
