Yep - over the Burdekin River at Macrossen Park - outside Townsville, about 22k east of Charters Towers - huge area to camp, toilets there - but boy can the river rise quickly whenit rains!!!!!!

These were taken last Queensland winter, when we had the week or so of rain.  When we arrived at Macrossen, the sandbanks were so big, you could walk from one side of the river to the other.DSC00956.JPGDSC00957.JPGDSC00958.JPGDSC00960.JPG
