Yep, after a couple of tries we finally met today.
After I had to change my morning plans to the afternoon I was able to tidy up my monthly trip to the big smoke so Helen and I were able to finally get to have a chat. Unfortunately due to heavy commitments on my part, well it is busy busy busy this retirement thing you know, it was a short chat, but still a chat. Helen is a very nice person as I thought she would be. I haven't met anyone from the GN Forum that isn't nice. We have arranged to have a longer chat in a few weeks so that will be good as I feel bad I had to cut it short today.
I am now packed and ready to head North, well as far as Greens Lake, Central Victoria, again, anyway. I am starting to spend so much time there these days I should set up a bed. Oh! I have, in my Avan.

Great to see you two met up today. Of course we are all nice!! I wish now I had stayed down there another month, all this rain up here is depressing. Next year I will go down later and stay till at least March. I wouldn't mind another month at Greens.
Glad to see another GN meet up - Dougwe and Esmeralda - haven't met Dougwe, but I know that Esmeralda is a lovely person, a very talented lady as well!!

It was really great to catch up with Doug the other day, and as we had spoken on the phone, it was great to put a face to the name. Doug used to live in Dandenong and because of this we have a few things in common, such as the lovely Roma Deli, the chemist, the doctor's rooms (different doctors though), etc. I look forward to our next meeting.
