Strop and I have decided to go away at Easter - weather permitting.
We would like to go camping and go walking to see a waterfall and rainforest. Does anyone know a nice place for us to camp say near Toowoomba? coming from Brisbane. oh. and we have an ordinary sedan.
Thanks. Rocket

Forget Toowoomba, you need to go to either Tamborine, Binna Burra or O'Reillys. Springbrook, anywhere hinter land from gold coast. All accessible by standard 2WD

DUNMOWIN is no longer on the road and still DUNMOWIN!
Main Ridge NP, between Toowoomba and Warwick, has some nice walks, and I'm pretty sure there was at least one waterfall. There are heaps of camp grounds, although Easter will get very full (but that applies anywhere I guess).
Queen Mary Falls bout an hour from Warwick. Beautiful walk . Stunning Waterfalls and a Caravan Park opposite the National Park. (dog friendly) They also feed Parrots there
We have Just had 10 days at Queen Mary Falls. Certainly accessable by car, cabins, powered sites and camping at the van park. Intended to stay for 5 but loved the birds so stayed for ten days. Hopefully i have attached photos of Queen Mary Falls.
