Our very first slideout!

Here are a couple of photos of our very first slideout. It came out the full width of an annexe. It was marvellous for a growing family. Again it is a caravan that my hubby built. It wa a 10 berth van (3 sets of fold down double bunks). One wet day with the extended family camping out, we had 22 people inside all playing various games! It got a tad noisy but at least we were all together and dry! It also had a shower and port-a-loo which was rather unusual in those days!

The slide out had its own door so that everyone did not have to come and go through the kitchen which would have driven me crazy. Posting this is bringing back some great memories. I sure hope the WA family that bought her are having a lovely time in her!
