My Toyota Landcruiser is up for rego in NSW today.
A bit over a month ago I checked the prices of the major Insurance competitors on the Government run http://www.regomate.com.au web site.
I was tempted to change from NRMA as it got undercut a little by AAMI. I forgot about it till today and now can't find the quote number I got from AAMI so, I went back to the site to get another quote from them all.
You can all see the result in the picture attached, and the reason I will stick to my original NRMA quote which I luckily got sent before this ridiculous price rise.
BTW my NRMA one is $417.
It's sometimes such a pain living in the NSW.
Cheers

Thankfully my vehicle and van are registered in Victoria - so those NSW prices are very much higher than I have to pay.
However, I notice that in the quote for 11 Jan 2013 shows "ITC Entitlement" as NO ... but the 18 Feb 2013 quote shows "ITC Entitlement" as YES.
What is the ITC Entitlement and would that have an impact on the difference in the price of the quote?
cheers - John

Well spotted John.
I did goof and marked the 'Input Tax Credi' section wrong on the recent quotes.
I have redone it correctly and found the quotes are a fair bit cheaper but still with a decent rise from the ones a month ago which made my decision to go with my earlier NRMA renewal still the best move.
The new comparison is below.
Cheers

This is a topic that I also recently posted my renewal recently from GIO which is normally the cheapest came in at $649.08 when checked they advised that because I had an accident and claimed on comprehensive policy in last 2 years my third party policy had increased as well, the other driver sustained no injury as a result of minor bingle so should not have impacted on third party compulsory policy.
