Popemobile

The Australian (Wed) has a cartoon showing the Popemobile leaving the Vatican. It's labelled the Grey Nomad Mobile and has a sign on the side "Dunpopin". Very droll.

Well it had to happen and won't be the last. I reckon it's all in good fun anyway. I like a good cartoon cos I'm a big kid at heart :)

Funny tonyd, we were talking about this to another GN couple this evening, and we all commented that it was time he took to the big caravan and travelled around Europe, he could be called Dunpopin, or Dunpapal!

Sorry, trip south fell through (won't bore anyone with details). May happen in a month or so (if it EVER gets any cooler!)

But I am planning a big trip north, starting maybe late-March-early April in which Kalbarri will feature, along with Mt Augustus, the Gibb River Road, some of those iconic national parks and so on. Stay tuned!

Cheers, Tony

I'ts about 10 degrees cooler down south Tony at the moment, and nice southerly's in the afternoon.  Your trip up north sounds really good, being so close now probably better waiting for that one.  Good time to take off north too.....
