Hey sweetie, gotta give the man a night off accasionly, LOL.
We celebrated his 56th birthday on saturday night and i can tell you im getting too old for this partying
lol, but it was a great night .
Now if you were a little younger then you would have put the word out & we could have all gate crashed the party; Bugger
Congratulations to Graeme , hope he enjoyed the night.
I have a scan on 15th feb at P.A hospital in brisbane ,this one is to try to figure out why im in so much
pain in my back,if anyone on here has osteo arthritis ide be interested to hear how they cope with there pain
ive got iceogel, unkers cream (from america) was taking osteo panadol may as well bloody eat a bag of lollies
and a tens machine ,nothing is working for me,its in my butt cheeks and lower back the pain ,so if that is what
osteo arthritis is im not liking it at all, they are saying the radiation has possibly set it off.
Ill let you all know when we know on friday what the scan says .
Been there done that with the pain etc, then found out it was osteo,
Been on Meloxicam , 1 x 15mg.at night after a meal . After the first two weeks of treatment I was able to reduce the dosage every second day,& that was 12 mths ago.( by script)
Most days are good, the ross river has been giving me a touch up again lately.
take care everybody xx

Over the past 15 or so years I have experimented with Glocosamine- go off & once it is out of system pain becomes worst- restart after a couple of weeks taking again pain reduces but you will never be pain free from OsteoA. I also found that Panadol Osteo are like lollies! Then again I was not taking 4hrly as advised!
I use Chondroitin and Glucosamine plus 2 cod liver oil plus 100g Krill oil........really works for me normally. Occasionally gets too bad and I take prescription anti inflamatory but only for a couple of days as they are not good for me any more than that. Got it in both hips which means I usually have a dull ache........even after the pills.
