"A woman who was allegedly run down by another woman at a caravan park at the weekend has reportedly died.

The 59-year-old caravan park manager was left with life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a car allegedly driven by a park tenant following an argument on Saturday night.

Police say the dispute broke out after a noise complaint was made about 11pm on Saturday at the Kingsway Tourist and Caravan Park in Madeley.

The argument escalated when the 45-year-old female tenant allegedly got behind the wheel of a vehicle and drove at the woman.

  The woman was charged with grievous bodily harm, which may now be upgraded pending an autopsy."

"THE manager of a WA caravan park who was hit by a car after an argument at the park has lost her fight for life. Rita Addenbrooke, who was allegedly mowed down by an angry woman at the four-star Kingsway Tourist and Caravan Park in Madeley, Perth, died at Royal Perth Hospital. A spokeswoman at the park, a member of Acclaim Parks, told Caravanning News: "We are all very shocked." Reports said 59-year-old Mrs Addenbrooke had suffered serious head injuries. Her co-manager husband Ron comforted his wife as emergency services rushed to the scene. It is believed a row erupted after a noise complaint late on Saturday night. It is alleged a 45-year-old woman drove a car at the park manager. She later appeared in court charged with causing grievous bodily harm and was remanded in custody until March 5. Police said the charge could be upgraded depending on the results of a post mortem. On his Facebook page, budding author Mr Addenbrooke has long complained of problems in looking after a caravan park."
