A trolling motor is almost always a small marine electric motor used strictly for trolling at slow speeds ,good for fishing.

If braind were dynamite some people couldn't blow their hat off.

Years ago when I was towing I did a midnight beach recovery one night, getting the car back to the car park I pumped up our tyres using the 17CFM (read LARGE) Honda powered compressor which I always carried in the ute.

This thing was noisy in daytime, you can imagine how it sounded at 2am.

Well the owner walked up to me while I was pumping and yelled..."very impressive...does that run off your battery?"

I just shook me head in woonder.  He was, after all an accountant.

cheers Neil
