Why is it always us guys who try to point people in the right direction but no one heeds the instructions. Same as General Forum, have you noticed just how many topics have made there way into here that should be in other topics. Lately it has got completely out of control. Waste of time trying to correct them as we have done in the past. I ignore it all now and think to myself. Whats the point?
When you have 12 separate forums on this site, you tend to gravitate to the forums that are of most interest "most of the time". In my case it's the General Forum and the Techies Corner. I'll look at some of the other forums usually just out of interest, but most of the time it will just be the 2 favourites. Maybe some of the separate forums could be merged ?
I'd like a separate section on the forum that lists all new threads/posts since I last visited, and have it so that once I've read whatever is new it then goes to it's individual forum - like back in the old days when the clerical assistant would collect the mail from the PO box, open all the mail (except private mail) and then once read would put into the relevant pigeonhole i.e. roadworks, plumbing etc.
Is this possible?
I always respect yet feel sorry for forum administrators and moderators - usually a thankless frustrating job. You have my thanks.
.. FYI .. I just go into "User Details" above which I have set to receive the latest entries .. then it doesn't matter where the entries are written as the latest ones will always be in front of me .. suits me anyway !

Gday...
Ya got me baffled Jon ..... just looked agen at User Details and I can't see anywhere where I can set "receive the latest entries" ..... I have mine set at Last Modified which means any new comment brings the particular thread to the top of the list in that sub-forum.
I am a viewer of General, I Digress, Solo Nomads, Road Conditions, Recommendations, Free or Cheap campsites, Techies, and a cursory look at Sharing Photos occasionally. Very rarely look at any of the others.
So - therefore, thanks Beth for putting your Brisbane Get Together in General or I wouldn't have known it existed
Cheers - John
