Great pic's Heather, it sure looks busy but I'm sure that was over the long weekend. Might see you next week if I can get my act together.

Question please, my wife was from Adelaide, I was from Melbourne.  Our meeting place was Little Desert at Kiata for whatever reason.  Has Green Lake always been this way?  From my memory it was a a place to have a pee and move on.  We are married now and often think about Kiata, but Green Lake looks more refreshing!

Wouldn't it be better to put all these Greens Lake photos in the "Sharing Photos" and/or "Get Togethers" forums and leave the General forum clear for stuff of more general interest.

The General Forum fills very quickly and doesn't leave much time for responses when it's cluttered up with stuff that would be more appropriate in the sub forums that were set up for that purpose.

There were three separate "Greens Lake" threads started yesterday alone on the general forum.

Sorry, I am getting confused with Green Lake near Horsham.

Does this mean I am having a senior moment!

Hi all at Green Lake.
You look like you are still working hard at having a relaxed time. After I left a few weeks ago I tried Shepparton for work with no joy then went up to Cobram and spent a week on the banks of the Murray (Scotts Beach) with heaps of great backpackers while looking for work. I've now got work picking peaches and pears in Cobram and staying on site for $40 a week with power and water. Great workplace and I'm settled for the season. I hope to meet you guys on the road again when I set off again in a few months.
Andy
