My son lives at Chuwar Brickies, but is high and dry. I was out there on Saturday, and they'd just closed off Colleges Crossing. After hearing about the potential for tornados I decided to come home and stay put.

Hope you're high and dry too.

Stay safe Jon.

Yes, only re-opened a month ago, my son tells me. The structures looked as though they'd been built fairly sturdy, so hopefully will withstand the rush of water. And i must say, it looked great too.

Its wet down at the sth coast, too. Raining here, more like drizzle, but needed. The bar at Narooma is 5m plus and a sight to behold, but its 21c and nice and cool. I had a call from a mate on Magnetic island, and its 37c and 80% humidity! I think I would rather be here.....Hope the floods don,t do much damage. Got some nice fish for tea at Wallage lake last night.I think I got the weather right by leaving NQ early. See you soon, Bill

I think you did well to leave when you did Bill. I hope the rain doesn't ruin your holiday.
