I'm a day late, but thanks Wombat. Hope yours was good.

Mine was very quiet, because of the weather. I went up to my son and family who live near the upper reaches of the Brisbane River. Other than sausage sangas for lunch, and playing with my grandaughter, our day was full of talk about the Wivenhoe Dam and how much water they were letting out.

Later in the day we went for a drive and there was the usual flooding of Twin Bridges, and Colleges Crossing but nothing extraordinary.

So all the Aussie Day celebrations in SEQ were a washout, literally.
