I have been away for a week and the last time I was on there were lots of gremlins in the system. I have been merrily posting away today, thinking my posts are showing and I find that even though they are registering as posted against my name, the posts are not there unless I hit the refresh button. I thought the problem would have been fixed by now.
Nope, problem not fixed yet N&R it seems bigger than first thought. Cindy is working hard to get it all sorted though, I think it's nearly sorted. I find clicking "Refresh after each post and the back out and click on refresh again on the post heading. Bit of mucking around but works for me.
Hope you had a good and safe week and all is well at home.

Sorry guys. I have been assured that all on the forum will be back to normal tomorrow. Fingers crossed! This has been a very frustrating period for everybody. Thanks for your patience. Please bear with us as this mysterious issue is sorted out. We will get there eventually!
Cindy's been busy removing our double and triple posts, the forum wouldnt have made much sense otherwise lately. Thanks Cindy, enjoy the rest when its fixed!
We are so lucky to have a FREE website - thank you Cindy. If we had to pay then I feel we would have the right to complain but as a free site then patience would be polite

May be some type of an sql error. but definitely weird that works with chrome just fine but issues with other browsers. From a technical view i'd love to know what the actual problem was out of curiosity.

I have just discovered "Google Chrome" is working with no problems with me. I don't normally use or like it.

Absolutely - as spida wrote - we are lucky to have a FREE website - and patience is a virtue they say - I just hit the refresh when I open a post - not too hard!

I'm not complaining either. I just was beginning to think it was my computer. The onus is on the new web designer to get it fixed especially as they have a name at the bottom of the front page! Your patience is admired Cindy. In the meantime I'll just hit the refresh button after each post. I hadn't been doing it because I thought the problem was fixed.
