The weekenders have all gone. No more idiots lighting fires, as the one who did last night and drove off leaving it unattended. We called out the police and fire who put it out. Police found them down the road and brought them back, good telling off. Can't believe some people are so stupid.
The last two nights were very windy but has calmed down and a gorgeous night now.

Don't they have total fire bans over in Vic? Or do they think they have enought water to fight them, and don't worry about it?
In SA and other states there are huge fines for lighting fires during the fire ban season. Even bigger ones if they left it unattended and still burning. Real dumb.
