Hi Yuglamron, mud wasp not sure were they could do anything, power wise nothing has changed.

Have been on town water  for months, took hose off as always and that was that till I turned on the 12volt water pump inside as I always do and found it was not stopping so had a look for a leak and found the water was pumping out of were the hose was pluged on, not being a plumber that's seems a bit strange to me as plug in mains is diffrent than the water tanks.

Sounds like the non-return valve between the hose connector & pump outlet line is stuck open. If you can locate it, a couple of sharp taps with a shifter or similar will often free it up. If not, it will require replacing

 Is it repairable?

Well this one is for the books guys if you have a Jayco Westport like I have, on the advice from every one I ever talked to regarding this problem and it all made sence to me I bought a new non return valve and put it on, guess what, did not fix the problem! asked a caravan repair man in Busselton about the problem and it seems on this Jayco it has 2 non return valves, the one I could not find was behind the filling connecter were the hose goes on inside under a seat next to batterys and a power supply and its very small.
Now I am happy.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

No problem with the Non Return however the Jayco heritage has the same "behind the filling connecter" and it also has a second small inline mesh filter. Had no pressure into van took ages to find the bludger then had to dismantle the lot to get to it to clean it. Why have two screen filters 25mm apart.
