Hot Stuff

I couldn't believe the temperature here at home in the shade at 3.30pm today, so took a picture.

I have so much respect and thanks for all them guys & girls out there in the extreme heat battling and or preventing fires.

I'm glad it's not that hot here. Ditto re the respect for firefighters. They do a great job for us.

HOT is the word . Yesterday , 2.20pm , 6kms out of Glenrowan on dirt road . Felt that all too familiar feeling go through the vehicle

and sure enough , flat tyre .  furious

Official temp. in Glenrowan was 44 degrees ., so would have been above 50 in the sun . The hottest bloody 20 minutes I can ever

remember . Anyway , got the wheel changed somehow .

Hit the Glenrowan pub , 4 quick pots and started to feel half normal again . smile

An old guy ( even older than me ) sitting at the bar watched , and said " Bit hot out there mate " .

Bit hot allright . ashamed
