You're right on there. I have a few last Christmas functions before the R day and no way am I am going to stuff up the R day by being pie eyed whilst driving, well past the hooch(although some days the back would probably love it, the waist line wouldn't), because I am seeing the R day as freedom. Away from the Man, open road and all. Moderationn and sleep it off under a gum, in the shade, by a river somewhere, because there is always a river somewhere(credit to the fishing show by the same name).
Cheers all and have a good one.
PS R day is retirement day, and I can't wait, think I might sleep in the new van on Friday night and I want to take it places, except I have to wait until Santa has been. The Grinch in me tells me to set up machine guns and surface to air missiles to get the red coated sod early so I can I can leave early!

A timely message Bob and Rhonda - make sure you have a safe and happy Christmas, wherever you are headed. We are at Lagoons Beach - heaps of vans here, mostly locals down from St Mary's or Fingal etc., not occupied at the moment - but they have their spots all picked out, and will probably turn up over the weekend I suppose.
Happy Christmas and a great New Year to all on the Grey Nomads site, and please stay safe and well!!!!
