Queensland bought it while i was staying there and yes it does say to contact another motel which is almost always Booked out :(

We have just left P A hospital in brsbane The Buranda lodge where i stayed for my cancer treatment is now closed to cancer Patients and is filled with refugees ,no longer is it for people that need accom from long Distances ,what is happening to australia

Burandra lodge was a Private run motel which had no connection to Queensland health and has made a decision to stop trading has a motel , On it web page it directs people looking for accommodation to ring Alexandra lodge for accommodation

If it was used for cancer patients it should still be used for cancer patients they are more important, especially those that have to travel long distance for the treatment, it's bad enoungh going through the treatment and the added pressure is far from needed and I speak from experience.

Exactly dougwe its just not good enough for me ,and many others my melanoma doc comes from sth africa
And has worked very hard even he had to come through nz as australia denied him,its sheer madness
