well we are getting excited, next thursday morning we head on the road to townsville for nearly 2 weeks on the road visiting family for xmas, we still work full time so this is a big adventure for us and a bit of practice for the future, as mentioned earlier we head to kilkivan to monto moura then to charters towers and townsville just deb me and fitzy(the dog)lets hope we stay cyclone free!!merry axmas all!!!

When you are on the leg fromClermont to Charters Towers make sure you use Belyando Crossing has a rest stop , Not much else on that run Don't buy fuel unless you have to
Oma I didn't mean an over night there just a good place to have a break , We have done Emerald to Charters Tower in one day and could easy get to Townsville if you had to , Was just pointing out there not much in the way of rest area between Clermont and Charters Towers
