Seems like another shareholder consequence.....everyone chasing 5% growth on 5% growth every year.....what about things like a stable return and looking after employees......everything done by spreadsheet by many people who have no actual knowledge of how a business runs.....and large conglomerates dictating ridiculous prices to suppliers.....when will some people learn......sorry...my Rant of the month.....

Rosella have been placed in receivership javascript:mctmp(0); Seems they were acquired by US interests in the 1960's, a few years ago an Aust company bought them back home, looks like their management skills didn't match their patriotism. Sad state of affairs, job losses as well as many primary producers who will be severely affected, guess it's another sign of the times, out with the old in with the new.
My mother will be very disappointed. Only last Sunday she pointed to the Rosella Fruit Chutney and told me she had grown up with it as her mother had also bought it. Mum is 87.

My Mum is the same age and will be devastated too....Her favourite sandwich is cheese and chutney.
I have found a lot of our regular grocery lines are disappearing off the shelves, to be replaced by home brands that just don't taste the same
