Horrible Thought - Wombat Stew!

Had a terrible fright in Big W yesterday whilst looking for books for little grandson, and came across a box with a little wombat in it with a book about wombat stew. It fair upset me and I just had to leave the store! There was another box with a wombat and book in it, but I was too upset to look at what it was about!

For goodness sake Wombat, please look after yourself!!!

I just made a Kangaroo Stew 2 nights ago...very nice too.  Had 1/2 the leftovers last night, as usual with stew, it was better than the 1st night.

We will finish it off tonight.smile

Cheers Neil

You know Doug right at the beginning of this thread I showed my concern for Wombat and warned him to be careful! I got the feeling he was very appreciative - and it is one bok that I would NOT buy for our grandson, I want him to know that you treat Wombats with respect (and love)!

Hmm, if I didnt know better I could almost feel sorry for Wombat, but you see I have been coached about the wildlife on the forum by Dougwe who I see is still at Greens, clearly he did not reach a majority when he had his committee meeting.

Me and Myself decided to stay a bit longer cos it cost's nuff'n here so I will make a donation to the local wildlife fund for allowing us to stay here and get kiwi-as to make wombat stew in his camp oven and if there is any left over we could make wombat pie for the next day.

Don't worry Wombat. As I recall you have lots of mates out there. Platypus, Emu, Blue Tongue, and Koala will surely rally around again to save you (as they did in the book I have read)

I can see a few broken ankles with your soccer game Duh. Wombats are as thick as 10 planks, ever seen a car that's 'kicked' one? biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Cheers

Duh, do you know that at this time of the afternoon, when the sun is lower in the sky, and a more subdued atmosphere takes residence.

you become strangely attractive wink

And that's before copious amounts of alcohol

Keep up the good work and spin in those fast one liners biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
