Skipworth Reserve, Jamieson, Vic

Stayed 6 nights at Skipworth Reserve.  Lovely spot on the Jamieson River, 7.5K south of Jamieson. Camps 6 #202.  Long drop toilets, no showers, no water, but very quiet and plenty of shade. There are a number of fire pits around but you need to gather your own wood (not from the reserve). Dogs allowed.  Camps 6 indicates $, but we have stayed there three times and have never been asked for payment.

We've just spent a few days at Skipworth Reserve.   It is a lovely and quiet spot.

The only drawback while we were there were the March Flies, they were huge buggers with a bite to match.

Also, while Camps 5 indicated there was phone coverage at this spot, we found that there was no mobile or internet coverage while there.

The locals were also saying that Skipworth and other reserves up this way all get filled up with campers over the Christmas & January holiday period, so probably a good time to stay away.
