Not personally Zagg but I did read a post on another forum from somebody towing a fairly heavy van with one, and they are verry happy with it.

Hi Landy,Once again I have not personally driven the Amarok. My son is torn between the Hilux and Amarok and has been researching them both.

Big problem, between them there are nearly 50 variants. 2x2 4x4 Petrol/Diesel king cabs twin cabs list is almost endless.

One of the websites he has researched is the Caravan World website which tested the Amarok towing a caravan.Might be worth a look. The consensus is that it's a European top quality vehicle with a damn good warranty and a very willing Tug.The reported fuel consumtion looked good too.

Regards

Trevor

Friend has one and loves the way it tows his van - don't know the technicalities, but he says he can't see it beaten - and he is a dedicated Ford man previously!!!
