Heading down to Nowra to pick up our new castle on wheels Friday & intend staying in the area for a day or two in case any obvious warranty repairs are found (bloody long way to go back from home).  Can anyone give an indication what Nowra showgrounds are like, please

Hi Darrell, I was a police officer and worked in Nowra (only retired in June) personally I would camp at the berry show ground which is just a few KM north a great spot. Now I am not saying nowra is bad, it has problems like any other town/city but I think Berry would be a better spot. Enjoy your new van

I've seen pleanty of vans parked at the showground in nowra, not sure what its like at night bu
I think berry would be quieter..and berry has a very nice pub , the great southern hotel..
plus the markets once a month i think

We too would recomend Berry. We stayed there recently for about a week. Great place and the park caretaker is just so supportive. the town its self is very nice as well
