Prevailing winds come from North & West so try to camp on that side of oval perimeter.

Doesn't take many vehicles to chew up and powder the dirt road, so check out the wind direction

But, saying all that is is a reasonable camp setting and popular with regulars and long weekenders so get in early.

Location is good to meander up and down coast for decent fishing and safe beaches.
