Wombat, wombat, wombat ..... didn't your Mummy teach you not to play on the road? For goodness sake, please take care - we love you Wombat, and want to have you around for a long time yet!

Did you hear that Wombat?  aussietraveller just said you are slow.  I'd take offense at that if I were you.  We all know you just like to take your time checking out the environment and making sure everything is in order.biggrin

Cheers!

Chris

Cindy has an article warning about animals on the road in the country etc Milo, said we have to be careful, including Wombats, she is just letting us know what a PITA our Wombat can be on our highways and byways......

PS:  I love roadkill Wombat Burgers....

Poor wombats, theres at least a dozen dead ones on the road between Tarago and Nowra (NSW) and a couple of wallabies too. Hitting a wombat is not fun, they get even by putting a big dent in your car!
I'm sure our Wombat is not so slow and naive to be wandering on a country road in the dusk.

GD, I come out of my hole at dusk but I don't go near the road, there are too many of those things with bright lights whizzing around all night so I keep away from them.

some members on here like to pick on wombats nohmmcry but as I have said before while they are picking on me they are leaving some other poor bugga alone biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
