Thankyou Capricorn and Pisces

For a really great what turned out to be DAY.

First Dianne and Ray took me to the Botanical Gardens in Batemans Bay and Dianne was a great guide and her information wasn't even scripted but I must say that seat out front needs a coat of paint Dianne but could I quietly suggest someone else does it biggrin.

After the gardens tour we went to a lookout and wow is all I can say there. I will write to the local Council though as I think they should really tidy it up and advertise it more, I will even suggest they get a couple of volunteers from the Botanical Gardens to do the tidy up and set the area up smile.

The day didn't end there though, the three of us went back to Dianne and Ray's and even though it wasn't a 8 course meal there was so much yummy food it turned out endless for the rest of the afternoon, there were cloth napkins and sort of silver service though and even a table cloth in a very lovely outdoor area.

Wow Dianne can talk biggrin it was 5.00pm before we realised it, I didn't even pick up when Ray put the milk bottles out. I think a new record was set for my GN meet ups. I didn't even have dinner as I was full to pussies bow.

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU sooooo much Dianne and Ray for a great day.

smile Dougwe, Diane and Ray ''must'' be one of those ''very special'' couples ??  as your report on the day sounds fantastic, so they must have left you very impressed

*** Is'nt life really great for you at the moment ?? *** Hope it remains that way for you for many years to come.

You know I wrote a big rave reveiw like that about '' the wombat'' but I ran it past Michelle before i posted it, and she informed me that although she understood that i was trying to be nice saying lots of ''NICE "" things about wombat, it was the biggest load of ''fibs she has ever heard ?? and i may not be able to post it anyway, ?? As Cindy is very strict about the posts, and does not allow any threads containing, Religious, political, veiws, or threads full of Lies trying to convince people, that wombat is nice ?? biggrinwinkbiggrin

Ahh well at least the thought was there biggrin

Hi Neil and Ruth, yes it was a good day and I am looking forward to meeting you both on Monday. To be honest I'm glad you said Monday as I seem to have got lost with days, I actually thought Saturday was Sunday and I told Dianne and Ray I was meeting you two tomorrow, at that stage being Sunday, then something else was said and I was lost as to the days. I have it right now though. See you MONDAY.

This travelling caper sure is hard work, I might have to come out of retirement to get a rest. smile disbeliefno

All of a sudden I have gained a day so I am thinking of doing not much at all today (Sunday) but I might slip back up to that lookout with my SLR camera as I just had my compact camera and not happy with the shots I took.

I have to say that I am really worried about our friend Doug, I offered to paint and decorate  his Avan and he suddenly mumbled something about moving the Avan to a new locality because of an immenent flood, drought or earthquake or something, he grabbed his hat and disappeared into the sunset....I can't understand why he doesn't appreciate my painting ability.  I showed him a lot of superb examples while we walked around the Botanic Gardens!  C'mon, Doug where is your sense of adventure......the Avan will definitely stand out once I've finished with it!   Seriously, thanks for a most enjoyable day, we look forward to meeting a lot more GNs.  cheers   Capricorn

Doug we have some of those tablet holders with the days on them - sometimes that's the only way we can check which day it is when we're on the road!

That's the best part about being retired! One day just rolls into the next. No wonder it is nearly Christmas.
