We have successfully used 'Yahoo' for about the past 9-years for our email address and for searching.  smile

In the past several months, we are having considerable trouble with our emails and my wife started an account with Yahoo 7 and that was even worst.  no     It is almost impossible to add email contacts in Yahoo 7 and now it is difficult to 'sign off'.  Perhaps it is our computer but I am suspicious of them.  This morning, an automatic request came for our mobile phone number - supposedly for security.

Is anyone with Yahoo and/or having trouble using their Yahoo account?    confuse    We are seriously considering changing.

I have been using Yahoo for ages, don't have any of the problems you are having - contacts are easily added, never had a request from Yahoo for phone number - maybe you have a "bug" in your computer??

I think you have abug that you downloaded with something else.Neither Yahoo or Microsoft will email you requesting ph nos and other details. You might have what we call a"trojan" ,a malware program masquarading a something else. All I can say is upgrade your security software, and change your passwords, often.I use windows live mail, and haven't had any problems. See ya soon, Bill

Everyone seems to be changing to Gmail accounts as they have massive amounts of storage etc all for free and you never again need to change your email address. Same with using Firefox and Google. They all seem much more user friendly. I have had a Gmail account for many years - never get spam and can block people if I wish - can also be used similar to Skype.
Regards Denis.
