Chillaxn at Airlie Beach. trying to talk the old man into staying till Tues. Surely there will be toooo much traffic on the road tomorrow.staying at Flametree Tourist Village. Out of town a bit so not so touristy. bonus is there is a small airport next door. fascinating watching the tiger moths take off. Don't wanna go home

Can't say as I blame you, a lot of people give the thumbs down to Airlie but I could look at that view over the Whitsundays every day of my life.............and yes much too much traffic on the roads yet.

Have stayed at the Flame Tree Kaid - nice park, I thought - as for the airport - terrific, unless the planes are taking off at 6am!!!!!
