Just found this article online. Apparently Canberra is going to become more GN friendly. I wish the article was more specific in just how the powers that be propose to achieve it - but I thought some of you might be interested anyway.
I've seen the occasional motorhome parked in a quiet spot around the lake, which looks really nice, but honestly I think all this buzz is directed at the big-spending end of the market. Dont get excited folks.
I suspect you might be right Gerty - it's a very Canberra thing to do. On the other hand, when they set up their amazing Committee to 'consider their options' we could make some suggestions.
This looks to me like a political bidding competition and the winner should spend some of the money on Caravan Parks as well as marketing and building conference centres
